Founded in 1895, the Cvetković Voluntary Fire Brigade Wind Orchestra has been preserving a rich musical and firefighting tradition for more than 130 years. For around four decades, the orchestra has been conducted by conductor and professor Dragutin Fabijanić.
The orchestra regularly performs at local events and takes part in numerous fire brigade and music gatherings throughout Croatia. In 2023, it hosted the Meeting of Fire Brigade Orchestras of the Republic of Croatia and performed at the prestigious Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Croatian Firefighting Association.
On Saturday, the orchestra will present a programme featuring Croatian compositions and well-known national melodies, complemented by a selection of international pieces.
